My updated skincare routine ♡

The last time I did a skincare routine post was about a year ago, I believe and since then my skin has improved a lot. So I thought i'd update you guys on what i've been using! I've gone pretty much 100% luck, which does get expensive but it makes my skin feel really amazing so I spend a little more cash. I made a post a while ago on how to get lush cheaper if you live in the us, you can check it out here.

1.) Ocean salt- $21.95 I use this whenever I feel like my skin needs a little boost. I don't use this everyday because it can get a little abrasive and if you are breaking out and use something really rough it can prematurely pop your pimples and cause acne scars. Sometimes I use this in the morning if I had a really rough night. It really wakes me up in the morning and gives my skin a nice glow. This tub lasts me about three months if I use it two-three times a week.
2.) Aqua marina- $28.95 I use this every morning and every night. This is by far my favorite cleanser from lush, which is odd for me because I usually only like things that bubble up or have little scrubbies in them, because they feel like they work better but this is a really gentle cleanser and it doesn't leave any icky residue on my face. It doesn't take off any makeup though, so before using this at night i use some makeup removing wipes. Any I can find really, I don't have a favorite kind. A tub of this lasts me about a month and a half.
3.)Tea tree water- $9.95 This toner is really great to use if you have been out all day and need a boost. I spray some on before I put my makeup on, and if my makeup feels a little heavy i'll spray some on my face and it makes everything look a little more natural. If i'm having a big breakout i'll put some on at night and it really helps calm down my skin. This has a lot of purposes! I wouldn't say that it is AMAZING, but i've bought it more than five times and it makes my skin feel nicer, although i'm not sure that it actually does anything other than make me feel nice. A bottle of this lasts me about three months.
4.) Grease lightning- $13.95 This is one of my favorite products to use, ever. I've probably repurchased this more than ten times. This is the best spot treatment i've ever used. If you have a breakout you can just dab this on the pimple, or spread it all over your face and it will help clear it up right away. If you were to just buy one thing, I would recommend this the most. This probably lasts me around a month because I use it all over my face. If you were to only use it on little spots it will most likely last you more than two months. I wish they made this in bigger bottles!
5&6.)Cupcake and The sacred truth- $6.95 (each) These two products are fresh face masks, which means they need to be kept refrigerated so they stay good. They contain products that need to be kept cool. You can't buy them online sadly, you can only get them in stores. I actually mix these two masks together and use them at the same time. Cupcake is a face mask for acne while the sacred truth really calms down irritated skin, so I found that they work really well together!
7.)Fresh Farmacy- $9.95 This is a really nice cleanser to use if you have sensitive skin. This was made for people who are sensitive to a lot of things. I use this when i'm having a breakout just to calm down my skin. It leaves your face feeling really squeaky clean. The only down side is that it comes in a bar form ; - ;...

My thoughts on iOS7 ♡

So the first couple of things are the new lock screen, home screen, and control center! These three things I found really annoying because the pictures you use as your lock screen and home screen decide the whole color scheme for your phone. So if you have a picture of you and your friends it might turn out kind of dark and weird colored, and the only way you can change it is by changing the picture and thats really unfortunate. Another thing I don't like is the new pull down control center. Theres nothing really WRONG with it, I just don't like the way it looks.

In a more positive light, here are some things I really like! When you make a folder on your home screen and click it, it comes up on its own screen. I really like how clean everything looks. Although, it seems kind of time consuming. The calendar is a lot more user friendly and i'll be using it a lot more than I did before. My favorite thing ever about the update is the pull up control center. I really like that they added buttons for things that are used a lot like flashlight, clock, calculator, and camera. They also added some other useful things at the top as well.

I'm in love with the new itunes radio, I was unsure about the whole pandora VS itunes radio thing at first but wow, Apple really did a good job with this. The music is really clear and I love how you have an option to buy the music at the top. I really like how the album artwork is really clear too! If you click the little "i" It takes you to a new page (far right screen shot) where there are some cool things you can do with the station! I'm going to test this out and see if it has a limited amount of music time like pandora does. Right now, i'm in love.

The clock is a lot cleaner and so is the phone and messages. I don't like the message colors though ; - ; I wish that you could change the colors... Overall iOS 7 is okay.. I do miss my jailbreak though. I'll probably jailbreak my phone again once the new jailbreak comes out and change my icons and wallpapers. I would recommend you updating if you're not used to having a jailbroken phone. if you just had the regular iphone you'll like this a lot since everything is a lot cleaner and user friendly.

Lulu's boots review ♡

I got these really cute boots from lulus for $36 and it shipped to me in two days! Which is really amazingly fast. It shipped to me in a huge box and on the inside was the shoe box. Lulus offers free return shipping so I wasn't too worried if I didn't like them.  I got them in a size 8 and they are a little bit big on me, but thats actually really good because I plan on wearing thick socks with them for winter.

One of the things I noticed on the shoes is that one of them had a little exposed glue. It was only on one side, on one boot so it's not really a huge deal considering they weren't very expensive. I tried pulling them apart and its pretty solid so i'm not too worried about it! I really like these boots because they are made vegan friendly! It's really hard finding vegan friendly boots.

Here is the other side of the boot, so you can see that it was only on one side! Everything else on the boots is pretty well made and it seems like they are going to last for a while. I walked around in them and bent them just about everywhere and they do wrinkle a bit at the ankles but other than that... perfect! I love them!

I really love how these boots have this zipper feature on the back so its easier to put them on. I tested out the zippers and they didn't stick at all. The zipper pulls aren't plastic or coated plastic but actual metal so they won't break over time.

I've never had brown boots before so i'm really excited. They look like the ultimate adventuring boots. I feel like they will last me the whole winter, plus some. The material seems semi water proof so you will be able to wear them in light rain, maybe on a rainy day to school where you'll be walking in the rain but not in it all day.

And here's what they look like on! I can't wait to find the perfect outfit to pair these with. They also have these same exact boots in black, you can find those here. This is my first happy shoe purchase in a while. I don't buy shoes very often and boots are my favorite and most worn item because they go with so many outfits! If you end up purchasing these boots let me know and we can match!

How to get rid of stretch marks ♡

Stretch marks can be troublesome and annoying, but first before I let you know how to get rid of them i'm going to tell you WHY you get them! Stretch marks happen when your skin is stretched because of rapid growth. Our skin is actually really stretchy on its own, but when it is stretched beyond its limits, collagen runs out and creates scars, stretch marks. Almost everybody has them and its a normal part of growing up so I wouldn't be too hung up over them. I have some, too! Now, i'll give you some information on how to reduce them!

 ♥ Moisturize
Moisturizing the area can help reduce stretch marks. Make sure to keep extra good attention to areas that already have them, and areas you are worried about. My mom recommends coco butter (that's what she used during pregnancy) and now a days there are even lotions to help reduce them all together! I've personally never used such a lotion, but i'm sure it does help a little bit better than a regular lotion. Keeping your whole body nice and moisturized is a really great thing to make your skin glow and look as healthy as can be!

 ♥ Potato slices
Using potato slices is a great way to reduce redness and stretch marks because they contain lots of great things to help the skin regenerate itself. Potatoes are really big to cut the slices kind of thin and just rub it on the areas you are worried about/where your stretch marks are and it should help over time.

 ♥ Lemons
Lemons are amazing at getting rid of scars because they help lighten things. Remember when you were little people would always talk about lightening their hair with lemons? Well they were right! Get fresh lemons and squeeze out all the juice into a cup and use a cotton ball to apply the lemon juice on the areas where you have the stretch marks. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes then wash it off! This is a great thing to do before a shower.

 Olive oil
Olive oil contains vitamin E which helps restore skin tissue, so you can just get a little bit of olive oil and use it as a lotion. Although you might smell a little funny and get all shiny! Oil softens your skin and will help your skin stretch easier without marking.

  ♥ Aloe vera
Aloe vera is amazing for acne scars, sun burns, AND stretch marks! It's very gentle so you can use this treatment everyday. They sell 100% natural aloe vera gel that is already bottled, so I would recommend getting that and using a cotton ball to apply. You can also use it for your face!

 ♥ Temporary relief
When I was researching online I found out that a lot of people love using self tanner lotions to help the appearance of stretch marks when they go to the beach because the self tanner makes them look almost invisible! You can also use face and body makeup on them. But these won't help in the long run, just for the day.

 ♥ Some tips
Remember that it's not the end of the world if you have some stretch marks, you are human! You grow, and it's a normal part of life. If you really find yourself stressing out over this, please see a dermatologist because all of the ways i'm showing you have been shown to work over time, but probably won't get rid of them one hundred percent. I love you, and love your body because it's the only one you got!

Dainty store review ♡

The Dainty store owner was nice enough to send me some really cute things to review for you guys! I'm actually really excited because this backpack is literally the cutest thing in the world. I was worried it wasnt going to be that good of quality, but wow! The quality is really great.  I'm really impressed with this bag because it actually fits a lot of things. I can fit two textbooks, and a binder in here with some extra space. It also has two zipper pockets, a cell phone pocket, and some pocket space in the front where the lace is located. The stitching on everything is perfect and found no mistakes anywhere on the backpack. If you're looking for a cute backpack I would really look into getting this one from Dainty

She also sent me some cute colored pens, which I love! The packaging is really convenient. I've been taking them to school lately and using them to take notes because there is so many colors. I think the cute patterns that they came in is really neat. i've never seen pens like that before, and lastly some kitty tights! I love these kind of tattoo tights that are sheer with a design. These are really subtle. Sheer tights like these can give you a little extra layer of warmth when it starts getting colder outside. Check out Dainty for some more cute clothes, and stationary! I hope you guys love it.

Must haves for fall ♡

Fall and winter are my favorite because its when I stock up on lush! Summers are really hot here in southern California so I rarely ever buy bath bombs or bubble bars anytime other than fall and winter so basically all my money goes to buying all of their limited edition things in fall These products shown are all of my favorites. Big blue bath bomb, Comforter bubble bar, and Twilight bath bomb are my go to bath bombs to buy and I also adore Ocean salt because with colder weather makes drier skin so having a good staple face scrub is a must.
Candles are by far my weakness whenever I go anywhere. Its still in the 90's where I live and yesterday I bought a pumpkin pie candle for my room. I like to pretend that its cold outside already. I love having candles going during fall because it just sets the mood for everything to be all warm and cozy. These two scents are from bath and body works and are my two favorite fall scents (for candles). For body spray I love wearing vanilla scents because smelling like a cupcake is nice.
Next up is shoes! I'm always wearing boots during fall so having a good quality pair of boots is a must for me. I love pairing not so girly things, with girly things so I would wear a pair of black combat boots with some pink frilly socks. I love how that looks! I also love having a pair of warm mocs because on my lazy days pairing those with some cute patterned socks and leggings looks really adorable. Boots are great to have when it starts raining a lot so your cute little feet don't get soaked.
Everybody's favorite right? A good knit cardi/jumper. I don't like wearing big bulky jackets and parkas and to be honest, it doesn't get extremely cold here so I can get away with wearing a cardigan, which is perfect because they match with almost everything. A good tip to wear bright colors in fall is to buy a good cream colored cardi because it will match with pastels. I'm actually tempted to buy some of these cardis from topshop because they're perfect... but so expensive ; - ;*

Scarfs are a great way to add color to an outfit or simply make it warmer for you. I personally love infinity scarfs because they feel like you're in a blanket burrito of happiness even when you're out doing something lame like going to school. Also, they're big and poofy so you can hide snacks in them (or maybe not)

I always stock up on socks when it gets colder because I always end up wearing longer socks in fall because I tend to start wearing boots more often. I like wearing longish socks because when you're wearing boots and the sock is peaking out a little I think its looks really nifty and cute. All of these socks are from topshop, and topshop has my favorite frilly socks!

And lastly, but not any less important is probably my addiction... Pumpkin spice latte from starbucks. I am addicted to anything pumpkin flavored and the pumpkin spice latte from starbucks is my absolute favorite thing next to pumpkin ice cream. It's probably really bad, but I usually have one almost every single day (i'm going to try and cut back this year...maybe) If you didn't already know, they're in season so if you've never tasted one before I really suggest going to starbucks and getting one because its the most delectable drink, ever!

Cute outfits for fall ♡

 Comfy, casual, and cute
Perfect for going to a pumpkin patch with your loved one, or friends. You'll be really comfy in some jeans or leggings. The light colored knit sweater will keep you warm and cozy when it stars getting chilly at night time. My favorite part of this outfit is the cat lace up boots. They make the outfit 1000% cuter!
♥ Sweater
♥ Jeans
♥ Bag
♥ Shoes

♥ Going out with friends
This outfit is perfect for school, or just to hang out with your friends! If its really chilly out, you can wear some tights underneath a skirt, or maybe even some thigh highs. Wearing a cardigan when going out is really great because if you're going to a mall or somewhere indoors you can take it off if it gets too hot.
♥ Sweater
♥ Tops
♥ Skirt
♥ Bag
♥ Shoes

♥ Fancy outing
If you're planning on going out to a nice dinner or party, but still want to dress a little warm, this outfit would be great for you! I love circle scarfs because you can pair them with almost anything. You can easily pair a nice black jacket or even a leather jacket with this, but I thought it looked cute, alone!

♥ Dress
♥ Scarf
♥ Bag
♥ Heels

I really hope you guys like these outfits I put together! It's still really hot where I live (in the high 80's) so i'm pretty sad I wont be able to start dressing all fall like for a while, but this is really highly requested, so let me know if you guys would like some more looks when it starts to get colder! xo
