What to pack for Disneyland ♡

A lot of you asked me to start making blog posts on Disneyland and the most requested one was to make a post about what to bring and not bring with you to Disneyland! I feel like I have enough knowledge to guide you guys in the right direction of what to bring! I know a lot of you are going to gradnight soon, so i hope this helps!
For me an external battery is a must. I love taking pictures all around the park and since the service is lacking at Disneyland my phone dies so quickly. With a Mophie battery my phone stays alive all day! I've owned several of their products and they are an investment, but VERY worth it. I recommend the powerstation duo (let me know if you'd like a review on this product!) Along with the Mophie charger bring along your USB phone cord because.. you can't use one without the other.

Lugging around makeup isn't ideal and it can get messy. Instead just purchase some blotting sheets! I personally use the ones from NYX but any will do, really. If you want something with a bit more coverage just bring along your favorite powder and powder brush.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

At night Disneyland always gets so humid and my hair always frizzes up. If you have the same problem with humidity bring along some hair ties! These are also really great to have with you if you purchase a snack while waiting in line and you need to wrap it around and throw it in your bag.

♥ ♥ ♥

I feel like A lot of people forget that you're allowed to bring food into the park. If you are trying to save money and not spend a lot on food i'd recommend bringing some snacks! If you really want to spend no money on food while in the park i'd recommend filling a backpack with food and ice packs and purchasing a locker. They are $12 for the whole day I believe!

♥ ♥

If you're like me, your eyes get really, really red at night. Eye drops are a must if you don't want to keep hearing "are you okay?" "you look so tired"

♥

I would throw this all in a bag that you feel comfortable with. Some people like backpacks, some like purses, some like totes! Its all up to you! I personally always take a shoulder bag or a small backpack.  Throw in a light sweater and sunglasses, too! I've found that Disneyland and California adventure aren't ever EXTREMELY cold on a typical California night. But obviously bring something heaver if the weather is more dense. Other than those things don't forget to take your wallet and a marker if you want to get autographs from the princesses!

Things you don't really need to pack: Huge cameras (unless you're trying to take professional photos your iPhone is just fine.) Water bottles (there is free water fountains all over the park & restaurants give out free water cups if you ask) Cash (all the vendors take ATM/Credit cards)

February favorites ♡

Hey dolls! I haven't done a monthly favorites in a while so I thought i'd update you a little on what i've been absolutely loving as of lately. Here in southern California its really hot out so a lot of my items are really spring/summer themed.

I ordered this Etude house nail polish off of ebay and the color and packing is absolutely stunning. It's the same exact color from Mac's old collection "Archies girls" although, this etude house nail polish chips like crazy. The mac color, didn't. I probably won't repurchase it again but until I find a polish this color i'm going to keep using it!

Next is this NYX lipstick. Let me just tell you guys that this lipstick is seriously AMAZING. It lasts for hours and goes on really smooth. It isn't matte, but it isn't super glossy either. I picked this up at ulta for around $6. The color is "LSS591A BLUSH" The color is a really nice deep pink that I personally feel would look amazing on every skin tone.

I've talked about this body butter from the body shop before but I repurchased it recently and thought i'd remind you guys how amazing it is. This might sound weird but for some reason when I put it on after a shower, when I wake up the next day my whole body feels tighter?? The smell lasts all day and the tub ($19) lasted me around 10 months.

I've been using this product from Clinique for a while now but never talked about it and i'm not really sure why. Its the "all about eyes" product! What you do is dab a little bit around your eyes at night and its supposed to depuff your eyes and lately my salt intake has been through the roof so my eyes have been puffing up and this makes it go down! Although this is a pricy product I recommend trying it out or maybe stopping by a Clinique counter for a sample.

I completely fell n love with Daisy by Marc Jacobs all over again! If you've never smelled it before (which i doubt) you should really go try it out! I have a really hard time finding sunglasses due to my face shape but these Mario glasses from LULUS were really inexpensive and adorbs! I'm loving transparent accessories right now.

AND LASTLY, my Disneyland annual pass because i've been taking trips up to Disneyland a ton lately! I've gotten the chance to meet a lot of you and its lovely. If you want any Disneyland related blogposts let me know!

Happy kitchen Japanese candy ♡

I got this Japanese candy and I finally decided to make it and blog about it. If you guys enjoy it, I might keep making them and posting them here for you to see! This brand is Happy kitchen and its a candy that you basically make. In this box you make doughnuts!

Everything is in Japanese!

Here are all of the things it comes with. If you don't read Japanese you can look up youtube videos on how to make them! Theres tons of tutorials. Thats what i did.

When you take everything out you get this plastic dish sort of thing and you have to cut it into three pieces! The right is the doughnut shaper and the left is to make the frosting and dough. The little thing to the far right is a water or milk scooper.

Heres what the chocolate dough looks like! Its kind of gross that you have to roll it around with your hands but if you wash your hands every things fine ^~^ plus you get to play with your food so thats fun!

I make my balls too small so if you're making this kit you should make them into 5 little balls not 6.

And the same thing goes for the vanilla dough! I used water for my dough but I read online that using milk makes it taste a little bit sweeter and better. Since this was my first time actually making one of these kits and taking the time to decorate it I just used water.

Heres what the doughnuts look like when you take them out of the shaper! I only decorated three because my mom wanted the other ones (heh)

I started making the frosting (and got it on my bed) I added too much water to my chocolate frosting so i mixed in all the strawberry frosting with it and it tasted so good!

And heres what my little doughnuts looked like when I was finished! Not the best but I expected it to come out a whole lot worse... maybe I found my first useless talent?! Let me know if you guys want me to buy more of these kits and blog about them ^~^ it was so fun!
