How to make my blog an app on your phone ♡

Its really easy to make your favorite websites more accessible to you on your mobile device! Im going to show you how you can make my blog (or any other website for that matter) an app on your apple phone or ipad.

Staying organized in 2014 ♡

Ever since a couple of months ago ive been obsessed with planners. I've been so busy lately that I kind of have to use one or i'll get off track and forget what i'm supposed to be doing that day. Here are some really nice ones I found online for 2014! Let me know down in the comments if you'd like a post on how I keep myself organized for school and life in general!

These planners from Kikki.k are sure to help you stay organized this year with their colorful and bold designs its hard not to want to doodle all over these adorable planners. These planners do run for a little more than something you'd pick up at Target or Walmart, but if you love using planners like I do, then the few extra bucks don't really matter.

These notebooks and planners from Typo by Cotton on are not only affordable but really easy to find! Shipping is quite cheap and last time I went into cotton on, I saw all of these planners and notebooks in store! My favorite one is the holographic one on the top right corner. Photos don't do it justice at all, its beautiful.

Poketo is a long time favorite of mine and i've bought from them a number of times. Their art is always so lovely and its no wonder why their planners are freaking adorable! They're all open date which means you can start using them whenever you want and just add in your own months and days which comes in handy if you "forget" to use your planner for a few months.

Christmas haul ♡

For Christmas I wasn't expecting a ton because I didn't ask for anything from anyone but some of you asked me to make a Christmas haul so why not! Feel free to leave down in the comments what you got for Christmas (if you celebrate of course, or what you did over winter break!)

I am so so thankful that my mom actually got me an iPad mini! I've wanted an iPad for so long and I finally got one and I'm excited. A couple of you have been asking me to do a review on it so if thats something you'd like then let me know! I'd love to!

Sloth got me this big ball of lush which was so thoughtful because he knows that i love stars and astronomy so this star related gift from lush was perfect!

it came with all of this and a lip balm which is amazing. I can't wait to use all of these!~ ^__^ Sloth also got me that totoro plush, which lights up on the tummy!

Every year my mom buys me a perfume and this year she got me my favorite! Which is daisy by marc jacobs. It usually lasts me the whole year so her getting me a new one every Christmas is actually perfect because I run out right around Christmas time.

Last but not least this Vanity from ikea that i've been eyeing for the whole year! I included this ugly picture because its still in the box and I haven't put it together yet but once I do, i'll be sure to show you guys! I hope you all had an amazing Holiday season and continue to bring positivity into 2014!

Cute rings (Online finds!) ♡

Someone on tumblr recently asked me to make a post about cute rings that they could buy online, so here it is! Recently i've been really into wearing and stacking rings. Etsy is my favorite place to buy rings because most of the sellers make the rings themselves! Comment below and let me know if you have any blog post requests!

♥ Star chain ring

DIY Christmas gift: Heart tea bags ♡

What you're going to need:
 ♥ Scissors
♥ Sewing needles
 ♥ Any kind of tea
♥ Any color thread
♥ Coffee filters (Four for every one you make)
Tags

The first thing you're going to want to do is grab about four coffee filters and its a lot easier if you keep them together how they came instead of taking them out individually. This way its easier to cut. If your coffee filters are fairy thin like mine are, you might want to use four, two on each side. But if they are on the thicker side, you can try one on each side. It just has to be thick enough to sew though and not break off!

Fold the coffee filters in half and do your best to keep all of the ends straight. Cut half of a heart into the middle of the coffee filter and you should get four hearts!

It should look a little something like this. If all the hearts are uneven try your best to gather them together and begin to sew. You're going to have to sew very tight together so the tea doesn't fall out!

Once you have about half of your heart together its time to pour in the tea! This can be a little messy, so I suggest doing it over a hard surface.

Once you have your tea in your bag, finish closing it up and keep it tight! I stress this a lot because the tea WILL fall out!

To add a tag you can use any kind of stiff paper and just poke a hole though the top and add it to the side, or top of the heart. You can have it say whatever you want! I just chose to have it say what kind of tea it was.

And there you go! A heart tea bag. This would make an amazing gift for any tea lover and it doesn't take very much time at all. You could make about 10 of them and put them into a little mason jar and you have a whole gift that took you less than $5 to make! xo

What i've been up to lately ♡

I've been crazy busy lately and was actually working four jobs at once at one point in the last two months so i've been doing my best to work with the little time I do have on the internet. Now that 2013 is coming to a close I just wanted to make one more "what i've been up to lately" post before it ends. In the past month i've been working a ton and eating a lot of Japanese food. Towards the end of this year i've been thinking about what I want to do with my life a lot more since i'm getting older and i'm getting more and more confident with what I want to do with my life. I signed up for Japanese classes at school for next semester and i'm really excited because I really want to study abroad in Japan.

I was working on a Stay Cute photo shoot that i've been planning for a while and it went really well! You can watch the video I filmed and put together for it here. I got to hang out with some of my friends and it turned out to be a really fantastic day and I can't wait to do a spring/summer shoot for stay cute! I started working at Anthropologie and I absolutely love it. I've been shopping there a lot and I'm really hoping to maybe intern there in 2014! I've been pretty great lately and i'm happy with what 2013 gave me and i'm so happy that all of you stuck with me and gave me the chance to take you all with me and gave me so many opportunities because with out you I wouldn't be able to do any of this! Please do let me know down in the comments how you've been and how this school year was for you!

How the grinch stole Christmas (THE PLAY!) ♡

I went to go watch how the grinch stole Christmas and it was so fun! I absolutely loved it. I took some pictures to show you guys ^~^ if you see this play near you, you should check it out because its really great. I actually watched it when I was younger and I was terrified of the Grinch.

They decorated everything around the theatre to be Grinch themed!
