DIY Christmas present (Hot chocolate set) ♡

Things you will need:
♥ Hot chocolate powder
♥ Candy canes
♥ Marshmallows
♥ Yarn/ribbon
♥ Bells (optional)
♥ Tags (optional)
♥ Scissors
♥ Mason jar

The first thing you're going to want to do is pour in the hot chocolate powder. You can use whatever kind or brand you'd like. I just bought this kind because there was a lot of it! Be mindful of how many tablespoons you need for one cup of hot chocolate so you can write how many people it serves on the tag. Mine serves 7!

Next pour in the marshmallows. You can put as many as you want or as little as you want. Remember to be mindful of how many people this will serve so you're not over doing it, or under doing it. You could also substitute marshmallows for gram cracker crumbs!

Next stick in some candy canes. I stuck mine in straight down instead of crushing them up because i'm planning on putting in 7 candy canes, one for each serving! The candy canes came in individual wrappers so I used one of them to put on top of the marshmallows to use kind of like a cover before you add more hot chocolate. If you don't put something to separate the two the chocolate will kind of take over and you won't be able to see the candy canes very well.

This is what it should look like once you add more powder, marshmallows, and candy canes. You could make this smaller by looking for a smaller jar or putting in bigger marshmallows.

I decided to add some lace to one of the jars to show you some possible ways you can decorate the jars!   I added small amounts of glue to the lace so it will stick to the jar. Something fun you could also do is paint the lid a different color!

And this is what the finished product will look like. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I can't wait to gift it! The total cost to complete two jars was $6 which amazing. It took me less than 10 minutes to make both of them, too! Be sure to show me if you end up making a hot chocolate set! Xoxo
