September favorites ♡

I've been posting my monthly favorites a little early every month so I hope you guys don't mind. These are my favorites this month! September went by really quickly and I found myself really into my school work so I was a little absent from blogging every other day, i'm sorry guys! I'm going to try and posting every other day at least, also get excited because in December i'm going to be posting every single day!

Once of my favorites this month is this little patch I bought at a local Japanese market called Marukai. It was only a couple of dollars and its really cute! They also sell some other really cute patches there so if you have a Marukai where you live, you should go check it out! They sell a lot of the same things that Daiso sells. 

I've been taking my 3DS XL everywhere with me lately! I've been playing Animal crossing like crazy after not playing for a while. I have review of that game you can read here. I don't have many games for my 3DS because I try not to play it A LOT but I always do. I'm preordered Pokemon X so i'll be posting a review of that game when I get it!

This bubble bar from lush is actually from their Easter collection and I just finished using my other one that I bought and it's amazing. It does wake you up a little though, so I wouldn't use it if you're trying to go to sleep right after. It smells really nice and makes your bath look like the sunset!

I started taking iron pills again because I am anemic and i've been feeling really dizzy and sick so taking iron pills evens everything out for me. A lot of teenagers and younger people are prone to an iron deficiency so if you have been feeling not so well lately you should consider getting your blood taken out so they can make sure everything is okay with you because iron deficiencies can get dangerous. Mine isn't very bad at all, and i'm grateful for that! I got this at target for about three dollars I believe ^__^

I absolutely love this manga so much! It made me cry ; - ; if you've been looking for something to read I recommend this! I don't want to give much away about the story but I feel like a lot of people going into college or just graduating will relate to this manga a lot. You can purchase it here. The artwork is absolutely stunning and it has a live action movie based on the book that i've been meaning to watch.

This beanie was sent to me a while ago and I wrote a review on it that you can read here. Its getting a little colder here in San diego so i've been wearing this a lot to class. I get tons of compliments on it and people are always asking me where I got it! I think its really cute and has held up perfectly with all the wear i've been giving it.

I've bought so many of these little bottles of Manic panic! This is my favorite color to buy. I recently put pink back into my hair and this is what I use. It lasts a pretty long time for me and its really mixable with all my other colors! The color is "Cotton candy pink" 

And lastly something i'm really excited I decided to try is this Nivea lip butter. I was addicted to the EOS lip balms a while ago and I thought those were amazing, this is literally lip balm gold. Nothing has ever made my lips feel so soft! It stays on your lips for a long time, smells/tastes great, and although it does't put a color on your lips it seems like it makes them look more pink and brings out their natural color a lot better! The only downside is that you have to put your finger in the little tub and if you're a person who hates germs, that might bother you. But its okay with me because i'm always washing my hands. Music playlist for fall ♡

The wonder years are one of my favorite bands ever. I've seen them live a million times and they never disappoint. My favorite album by TWY is Suburbia i've given you my all and now i'm nothing.You can click here to listen to the full album.  TWY are that kind of band a lot of people can relate to, and I find myself listening to them more around winter time. I'm not sure why that is but I get in a mood to listen to them more when its colder outside. Probably because so many of their songs reference cold weather. Every single one of their albums are flawless and they are absolutely amazing live and give off the best vibes. I even have some of their lyrics tattooed on me! If you like pop punk, you will most likely like The wonder years.
Also check out some of their other stuff like Wont be pathetic forever, and the upsides. They play tons of shows all around the US and play Warped tour a lot so if you ever get the chance to see them live, I really recommend it. They are fantastic.




Tegan and Sara are amazing, the album The con is from 2004 and i've been obsessed with it since it came out. If you've never heard of Tegan and sara, you should check them out. They aren't as popular as a lot of radio music but they are very, very talented. They started Tegan and Sara in 1995 out of Canada. They are twins too! How cool is that?! The whole album is amazing, I find that a lot of albums are great but there are always those off songs that are just kind of good. This album is my favorite because every single song is amazing. Also please consider purchasing these albums!








A couple of months ago I saw Anamanaguchi live, and it was literally the best show I have ever been to in my life. The vibe was so positive and amazing. Their whole set up was so colorful it was fantastic. Anamanaguchi is a chiptune rock band from New york. Their music is really happy its really great to listen to while you're getting ready too! Something really cool about them is that they did some of the music for the scott pilgrim video game. They were also featured on the game rock band. I don't know many people who have heard of Anamanaguchi, which is why I made sure to include them on this list. I hope some more people listen to their stuff! Man overboard is a really amazing pop punk band and this is one of my favorite albums by them. I've seen them live before, and they're really amazing and they are all really sweet. Their music is really catchy and fun. If you like the wonder years, a band that I mentioned in this post, you will most likely like man overboard. You can listen to the whole album here. They also play a lot of shows around the US and they are actually touring right now! So check them out if they come to where you live. You should also check out their new album heart attack.

Those were some of my favorite albums to listen to so now i'll continue on with a playlist! Happy cosmos bag review ♡

The owner of Happy cosmos on etsy was nice enough to send me one of these really adorable hand made bags to review for you guys. She has a collection of a bunch of different backpacks, iphone cases, and bags that are hand made with love and they're all really cute. I really adore when people make things, themselves. 

I'm not sure of the exact material of this bag, but it feels very blanket like so you wouldn't want to use it if its hot outside, but since winter is coming this might just be a wonderful bag for you to use! Its very comfy and soft. The stitching on everything is in tact and there are zero flaws on the bag which is amazing.

I find it important to let you guys know how bags fit things, so this bag fits a one inch binder, and a standard size textbook. It could also hold a fifteen inch macbook which is what i have. Since the whole bag is very plush like its very soft on your shoulders so it doesn't cut into them and hurt like a lot of canvas bags do.

This is what the back of the bag looks like! Everything is really great quality and very soft so personally I am going to use this as a laptop bag! If you have been looking for something similar I would really recommend this, or you can even use it as a bag for school/work. I'm beyond happy with this bag and I really hope that you guys check Happy cosmos out!

My updated skincare routine ♡

The last time I did a skincare routine post was about a year ago, I believe and since then my skin has improved a lot. So I thought i'd update you guys on what i've been using! I've gone pretty much 100% luck, which does get expensive but it makes my skin feel really amazing so I spend a little more cash. I made a post a while ago on how to get lush cheaper if you live in the us, you can check it out here.

1.) Ocean salt- $21.95 I use this whenever I feel like my skin needs a little boost. I don't use this everyday because it can get a little abrasive and if you are breaking out and use something really rough it can prematurely pop your pimples and cause acne scars. Sometimes I use this in the morning if I had a really rough night. It really wakes me up in the morning and gives my skin a nice glow. This tub lasts me about three months if I use it two-three times a week.

2.) Aqua marina- $28.95 I use this every morning and every night. This is by far my favorite cleanser from lush, which is odd for me because I usually only like things that bubble up or have little scrubbies in them, because they feel like they work better but this is a really gentle cleanser and it doesn't leave any icky residue on my face. It doesn't take off any makeup though, so before using this at night i use some makeup removing wipes. Any I can find really, I don't have a favorite kind. A tub of this lasts me about a month and a half.

3.)Tea tree water- $9.95 This toner is really great to use if you have been out all day and need a boost. I spray some on before I put my makeup on, and if my makeup feels a little heavy i'll spray some on my face and it makes everything look a little more natural. If i'm having a big breakout i'll put some on at night and it really helps calm down my skin. This has a lot of purposes! I wouldn't say that it is AMAZING, but i've bought it more than five times and it makes my skin feel nicer, although i'm not sure that it actually does anything other than make me feel nice. A bottle of this lasts me about three months. 

4.) Grease lightning- $13.95 This is one of my favorite products to use, ever. I've probably repurchased this more than ten times. This is the best spot treatment i've ever used. If you have a breakout you can just dab this on the pimple, or spread it all over your face and it will help clear it up right away. If you were to just buy one thing, I would recommend this the most. This probably lasts me around a month because I use it all over my face. If you were to only use it on little spots it will most likely last you more than two months. I wish they made this in bigger bottles!

5&6.)Cupcake and The sacred truth- $6.95 (each) These two products are fresh face masks, which means they need to be kept refrigerated so they stay good. They contain products that need to be kept cool. You can't buy them online sadly, you can only get them in stores. I actually mix these two masks together and use them at the same time. Cupcake is a face mask for acne while the sacred truth really calms down irritated skin, so I found that they work really well together! 

7.)Fresh Farmacy- $9.95 This is a really nice cleanser to use if you have sensitive skin. This was made for people who are sensitive to a lot of things. I use this when i'm having a breakout just to calm down my skin. It leaves your face feeling really squeaky clean. The only down side is that it comes in a bar form ; - ;...

My thoughts on iOS7 ♡

So the first couple of things are the new lock screen, home screen, and control center! These three things I found really annoying because the pictures you use as your lock screen and home screen decide the whole color scheme for your phone. So if you have a picture of you and your friends it might turn out kind of dark and weird colored, and the only way you can change it is by changing the picture and thats really unfortunate. Another thing I don't like is the new pull down control center. Theres nothing really WRONG with it, I just don't like the way it looks.

In a more positive light, here are some things I really like! When you make a folder on your home screen and click it, it comes up on its own screen. I really like how clean everything looks. Although, it seems kind of time consuming. The calendar is a lot more user friendly and i'll be using it a lot more than I did before. My favorite thing ever about the update is the pull up control center. I really like that they added buttons for things that are used a lot like flashlight, clock, calculator, and camera. They also added some other useful things at the top as well. 

I'm in love with the new itunes radio, I was unsure about the whole pandora VS itunes radio thing at first but wow, Apple really did a good job with this. The music is really clear and I love how you have an option to buy the music at the top. I really like how the album artwork is really clear too! If you click the little "i" It takes you to a new page (far right screen shot) where there are some cool things you can do with the station! I'm going to test this out and see if it has a limited amount of music time like pandora does. Right now, i'm in love.

The clock is a lot cleaner and so is the phone and messages. I don't like the message colors though ; - ; I wish that you could change the colors... Overall iOS 7 is okay.. I do miss my jailbreak though. I'll probably jailbreak my phone again once the new jailbreak comes out and change my icons and wallpapers. I would recommend you updating if you're not used to having a jailbroken phone. if you just had the regular iphone you'll like this a lot since everything is a lot cleaner and user friendly.
